The INDIANHEAD BASSERS Bass Club is the oldest active bass club in the state of Wisconsin. It was started in 1973, with an average membership of 22 fisher persons each year and is a member of the Federation Nation. The club also has the oldest active member of the Federation Nation we believe in the United States, Charlie Briggs from New Richmond, Wisconsin. Charlie is in his early 90's and fishes many club tournaments. He has taught many anglers the ways of bass fishing.  He never complains and always enjoys himself, perhaps the Rick Clunn of New Richmond.

The bass club partakes in many other projects. They have kids fishing day that allows the kids to see how the bass club works and fish in a tournament.  Focus is on promotion of our sport with the young angler. Wisconsin angling skills instruction is another important way the Indianhead Bassers give back.  We do seminars at various locations and work with one of the local Boy Scout troops instructing them on fishing skills and good sportsmanship.

If you wish to learn more about a BASS club in your area please contact B.A.S.S.Bass Anglers Sportsman's Society and ask for the Federation department.

We hope you enjoy our site and understand our passion for the outdoors and tournament fishing.  Sportsmanship and stewardship are of the utmost importance to the club.
